This week I discuss my US/UK visa application and what it means for my taxes. I’ve had to apply for my L2 visa and boy oh boy is there a lot of documentation to go through!
The main reasons for getting my L2 visa is that I need to apply for my social security number, which then allows me to open a US bank account and apply for a drivers license.
I really sympathise with anyone going through a visa application process. My only advice is to keep going, complete all the steps with as much patience as you can muster, and things will work out! Please feel free to get in touch with me if you are going through a similar process!

I’ll also take you through how you can handle the fear of buying a property. I’ve just had first hand experience in putting in an offer on a property in Bath. This was definitely not in my plans for this year! And because of that, it was scary having this amazing opportunity to think about.
I talk about writing many pro’s and con’s lists in the podcast- this is honestly the most important aspect. It will make you feel in control and to see the bigger picture.
HINT: Get a big whiteboard and a whole lot of sticky notes! And remember to lay things out logically in the order they would need to happen.
