One of my biggest pleasures is travelling. If you follow my Insta you will get the low down on what I’m doing on a daily basis, where I am and some of the amazing things I see.
I’m always in awe with the incredible things I get to experience. I never in my wildest of dreams thought that I would get to go to Australia… it had seemed so far away, so inaccessible and therefore I had never given it much thought.
Yet, I got there, I saw it and it has been a phenomenal experience and is as beautiful as I thought it would be.
However, this trip has been extra special because of the number of people I’ve met, mostly through NC Real Estate. It’s been so lovely meeting people who interact with NCRE and hearing about their experiences in the property industry. This was what creating the brand was all about for me, connecting the property industry, starting a global property movement… after all markets are connected and we need to be aware of what’s going on.
No matter where I am, I always find myself gazing into estate agents windows, weighing up the difference in price between the UK and the new city. I like to understand what tax is payable, how profits are calculated, whether there is money to be made in buy to lets.
Australia has a very similar way of operating to the UK property market… yes laws may be called something different, but processes are the same. They also have the benefit of still being allowed to deduct 100% of their mortgage interest from their profit… although one sceptic thinks that pretty soon this will change if they see it being successful in the UK.
I want to thank everyone who comes to meet up with Chris and I as we travel, and invites us into their home. It’s honestly a pleasure, we love it (and I love a good chat about everything!!).
NC Real Estate keeps getting even more awesome for me, I’m so grateful it allows me to travel the world, it helps me to expand my horizons, it keeps my global real estate knowledge strong and I get to meet the most amazing people.
