It’s tough isn’t it, you hear those incredible stories from people who have trodden the path before you and been so super successful in property.
It seems like the biggest hurdle in the world to get somewhere, but where do you want to go?
I have been in the same boat as you, wondering how I get from A to Z.
Those who are shouting about their success dreamed of a goal and then forged a path to getting there.
When I got down deep into it, the successes everyone else was getting wasn’t really what I wanted, but I wanted their enthusiasm their determination and that celebration throughout as I was making headway towards their goals.
GOALS are the key point here – you need to know what you are getting started in property for.
I have always loved property, I like having property which I can mould and shape into a home that other people want to live in. I love the economics of supply and demand as well and am always super interested in how that works.
More than that I want the freedom that property income brings. It allows me to travel and invest where I dream (I love travelling). it allows me to mix with likeminded people and run my own life. I want my time to be spent where I want it to be, in the gym, paddle boarding and with friends and family – I want to spend my time doing the things I love.
The reason you are getting into property must be individual for you, but to start you must set a goal of where you want to be. Be specific.
My specific goal at the moment is to run my own property company which brings me a yearly income of £50,000.
Next you need to define a timescale – when do you want it by? Make it achievable for you.
My goal is 12 months, I devote my life to this and have been for the past 18 months and am already half way there.
You will be acting under completely different circumstances to me so choose what’s right for you!
Now WRITE IT DOWN your goal and your timescale and keep it safe.
I find it essential to tell someone as well so that they can keep me accountable – I’ve just told you so it’s now your job to keep me accountable. I would also love for you to write your goal and timescale below so that I can do the same for you!
OK I will leave you to dream about your goals, however next week I will definitely be back to help you get there!!
So don’t forget to come back next Monday for PART 2 when I will be teaching you how to reach your goals!
In the meantime do not forget to write your goals in the comments section below so that I can help you achieve everything you have dreamed of and keep you accountable along the way.
